We have stayed in various Marfolin apartments depending on availability but all are comparable and highly recommended. This year we were in number 27. All apartments are very clean, well equipped and all have a fantastic roof terrace! Each apartment also has access to the pool, which is directly connected to the beach. We also recommend some restaurants in the basement, such as ‘Bagus’, ‘Leo’s’ and ‘Olivocorso’. Don’t forget Brenda and Rick, who are very cool and reliable. They are there for you around the clock!! Marfolin29 is a great apartment, clean, bright, spacious, very comfortable large double bed and bedding. Amazing large roof terrace, with fantastic views over the beach and right out to the light house, where you can enjoy the sunset. Very well equipped kitchen/apartment, everything you could need. So handy for the delicious varied food and drinks places available downstairs, highly recommended Bagus for a sundowner ! A lovely welcome from Brenda who went through everything we needed to know about the apartment and the local area. Definitely recommend the burgers in Bagus downstairs and the seafood platter at El Callao in the centre. The sea was a little dirty when we were there. - on Customer reviews: “It is the third time we go to these apartments and the first time we go to Marfolin 35. The apartment is huge, super clean, nicely decorated and very, very comfortable. The kitchen is super new and has everything you could need, even a Nespresso coffee machine. The views of the coves of El Cotillo from the living room, the master bedroom and the terrace are spectacular. I really haven’t seen anything like it. Both terraces are amazing for breakfast or dinner. The mattresses and pillows are wonderful. Rick’s attention has been perfect, always attentive to everything we could need. The only small downside is that if we shower four people in a row, the last one runs out of hot water. A bigger thermos would be appreciated. - on Customer reviews: “We have just returned after ten wonderful days in Marfolin 32. The apartment has everything you need for a good holiday in lovely El Cotillo. Modern, clean and fully equipped. We especially loved the large outdoor terrace, where you can have a nice breakfast in the morning and drink a cold beer after your beach visit in the afternoon. We also really liked the restaurants and bars in the apartment complex. Try the paella restaurant, the takeaway pizza from Leo’s and the coffee and pastries from the coffee shop. - on Customer reviews: “We have just returned from a fabulous 2weeks here at number 23, everything from start to finish has been wonderful, great communication from Rick and Brenda they are fab nothing too much trouble. The apartments are a real home from home with everything that you need from beach towels and umbrellas, a fully equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean. The time we were there there was a music festival on the beach which was free . I would highly recommend this for couples and families, peaceful yet plenty to do.” Jul 11, 17:18

From the terrace with beautiful view we could enjoy the whole day from breakfast to sunset. Everything is well maintained and clean. The beach can be entered directly from the pool. It is very beautiful, well-furnished, neat & tidy, and the rooftop terrace directly above the beach is the absolute highlight. The apartment is for 6 people, although we have only stayed there with 2 to 4 people so far. Marfolin 35 is part of an apartment complex with a pool (which we have never used), but the separate entrance to the apartment gives you the nice feeling of having privacy. Since several new hotels/aparthotels are being built opposite the complex, the character of the place might change. However, we hope that it remains as relaxed and peaceful as it has been so far. The two contact persons, Brenda and Rick, are always available (i.g. via WhatsApp) and extremely friendly and very helpful if necessary. We will definitely come back.” Jul 2, 18:03

It was fitted out to a very high standard and we could not fault it at all. Everything we needed – and so much more – was provided in the apartment and we would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation. In addition the communal areas at the complex were well maintained. The garden area was well tended and the pool was cleaned every day. Brenda, who manages the letting of this apartment was very helpful and attentive and it was reassuring to know that she was only a text or phone call away and would respond very quickly if we had encountered any problems.
